There are seven big cats in each backpack and for each one of those, there are seven little cats... that's 56 cats per bag. These are apparently some extremely large backpacks (the backpack I used for the last year of high school and throughout college could hold three or possibly four cats if I crammed them in there, and it was a fairly large backpack). There are 49 of these backpacks, too, for a total of 2,744 cats on one bus. If most of them aren't dead yet, they soon will be.
