What are prices in your area?

The four closest stations to my apartment--Mobil, 76, Chevron and Tesoro--are all at $2.519 for a gallon of regular unleaded.

Yesterday it was $1.89/gal , but it may be higher today. I haven't been out yet.

On base, it's 1.899 (anyone else hate that annoying extra 9?)...Off base it's averaging 2 cents per gallon more (still with that annoying extra 9). SC, BTW.

At the cheapo places in Panama City regular unleaded is $1.95/gal.

Brand-name places are $2.04/gal.

Out in the boonies it's a few pennies cheaper.

It's a few pennies higher on the beach.

I had to pay 1.99/gal today.
It's a good thing I have a few jobs to do this week, what with the
prices of gas, and cigs.
