How do you pronounce "Pszyck"?

I was driving to the volcano one day, and noticed this road, Pszyck Road. What the hell are we doing with a Pszyck Road in Hawaii? I wonder who this person was to deserve a road? :D

Using my Hawaiian language background, I would pronounce every letter, since we don't have "silent" letters.

pss-zuh-eye-ck :D

Ris' answer sounds closest to me...The area I grew up in had more foreign-sounding names than English-sounding names. Quite possibly a Balkan name...

It all depends upon the root language. I ran it through Polish, Czech , Russian, German, hungarian, romanian dictionaries. Its not out there as a regular word. It must simply be a family name. It could be: fizz ick, pfizz ik, sizz ik, skizz ik, pizz ike, fizz ike, sizz ike... ick.
