Had one, went and bought an extra third row seat that seats three and stuck in in place of the middle seat which only sat two. That worked, for awhile. See, the weights of the kids are getting up there now. The oldest is 15, then there are 14, 13, and 12. The older three are each right around 130 - 150, with the 12 year old at about 110. Most of your minivans just aren't built for that kind of cargo, besides the fact they aren't built to put three full size people in a seat.

I see. I used to have a full size van that would probably have filled the bill, but it wouldn't help the fuel mileage problem, so no point in that. I guess your stuck unless you just toss 'em all out of the house.

That's been considered as well. We've also instituted a new feeding policy, half eat M - W - F, the other half T - T - S, and we all sit down together on Sundays. So far we're still encountering some resistance.

a record high nationwide average of $1.77 a gallon? i wish prices were that low. the high in hawaii is reaching $2.35/gallon for regular gas.
