Yeah he quit because of this "Ridge resigned shortly after the 2004 Presidential election because the White House pressured him to raise the terror alert shortly before the election".

He quit. After the election. Which mean she sold his soul, if what he now says is true.

What did he lie about?

I know you don't trust anything that portrays the last administration in a bad light.
 
I understand that you'd like to automatically write off anything that puts that administration in a bad light.

The info Ridge has given us is hardly surprising though.

Maybe he had several reasons to want to quit.
