United States exempt from International Criminal Court

Defusing a trans-Atlantic spat, the European Union agreed Monday to spare American citizens the fate of standing trial on war crimes charges in the newly created International Criminal Court.

The EU foreign ministers agreed to let countries sign bilateral accords with the United States exempting Americans from an ICC trial, if they wish. Britain and Italy have said they may do that.

Washington in return promises to try any accused in American court
I got no problem with this part, as long as an American military tribunal or American judge and jury can make the verdict, and not some dipshit from some socialistic state that hates the United States. Overall I think it was pretty good. I'm still disappointed it doesn't cover free lance soldiers and mercenaries though.

so what happened to those two soldiers that killed a couple of kids in Korea?

The middle-school girls were not intentionally run over, Luis. That was an accident. Most of the witnesses, Korean and American agreed on this. A few, however, claimed it was on purpose. I've been to Korea, and I know a bit more about how their law operates. Giving over those 2 soldiers would be about the same as handing them to Osama bin Laden.

Having heard that is enough for me.

btw, what's the law in the states about running over people?
In here you are guilty, even if the guy jumped in front of your car, with the exceptions of high speed avenues, and fenced avenues (which most commonly have walking bridges to get across).

Depends on the situation. If a guy jumped in front of your moving car, and you run him over, then too bad for him. If there are no witnesses, then too bad for you. It also depends on the person you run over. Street/homeless people are not as bad as running over some rich persons kid...Too many factors.

BTW...running over any Mexican with this symbol on his hat...

is encouraged... :D

running over a mexican is already encouraged, having that symbol or not

malditos gringos :D

No, but I hear we are about to take Mexico again, just a bunch of drunks taking siestas, shouldn't be too hard. ;)

i thought we were the ones taking the USA back, we already have "Mexico City 2" in there (best known as Los Angeles) ;)

ohhhhh yeah, Chicago, soon to be Guadalajara 2

(i don't know why but i find this thread hilarious)

I was going to put that in parenthesis, but I wasn't sure how to spell it. Thats fricken scary.

Too bad Miami is already La Habana 2, it might be a nice place for Monterrey II

Gato: Chiapas is already a pain in the ass for us (especially the guy "Marcos" whose only purpose is to be against the goverment), and we also have several problems in the border of Chiapas and Guatemala, and it is harder to patrol, because it is jungle and mountains.

That's okay...We'll just work our way slowly north.

BTW...I think Coca-Cola now owns Mexico...Didn't Presidente Fox work/run Coca-Cola in Mexico? :D

yeah, he was the manager of Coca a few years ago, before he was president of Guanajuato state.
