veal: the flesh of a young calf
calf: the young of the domestic cow.

Yesterday i did the purity test and it asked me if i ever eated veal, i thought wtf, is that a bad thing?

Am i getting the wrong meaning?

Male calves are taken away from their mothers two or three days after their birth and placed in small crates or pens that measure only 22 inches by 54 inches in size. They are fed a low iron diet to keep them anemic so that their flesh remains a light pink. A human in this condition would be considered quite ill. These calves are chained in place so that they can never move about or exercise their limbs, and many of them never see the light of day until the day that they are taken to slaughter.

I wouldn't eat anything until it was old enough to stop suckling.

Veal is just...........wrong.

*wanders off to make a fryed egg sandwich*

43% pure. At least I'm mor pure than Luis.

I'll be here all week. Try the veal.

Yeah, it's baby cow. Yeah, it's wrong. But it's just so damn good.

SO, BCD brings up a point, kinda. Why is veal bad, yet eggs are ok?

i never said it was bad just that i refuse to eat it. its not really bad. i jsut cant eat a baby. ill admit ill eat eggs but i have been all my life. i guess its the idea of a baby being raise just to die perturbs me
