I voted yes, but there is something else to worry about. If it isnt drugs there will be something else on the market

Certainly a "Yes" from me. They should at least decriminalise it so that cops can spend their resources catching crooks instead of dopers.

Yes from me.....the NOs leave no comment because rheir posistions are indefenseable. I however have strog reasons for tight regulations and possible for illegalizarion but as a knee0jerk recation I say legalize it.

"I smoke rwo joints in the morning, I smike two joints at night, I smake two juints in the afternoon and than I feel allrighr.

The NO positions go without saying. We don't want to encourage kids to be anything like you.

Looking at how you're typing right now, it's pretty obvious you smoked a few, there, Mark. :D

I was in favor of California's medical marijuana proposition in 1996, but I wasn't old enough to vote. I'd have to read the Alaska proposition before I made a decision, though, since it sounds like it would be legal for non-medicinal purposes as well.

Keep in mind that when California passed the medical marijuana proposition in 1996, President Clinton was quick to remind us that it's still against federal law. I'm sure Alaska would get just as quick a reminder message.

We get those messages all the time. As current law stands, if you are busted with anything under an ounce the judge you have that day makes the decision as to whether you go to jail or whether you walk. We already have a few laws in place protecting marijuana users and the judges can decide whether they want to follow state or federal law.

I'm not in favour of legalizing. I am in favour of decriminalizing minor acts like possession up to a specified amount, or a small cultivation dealie.

I think that anyone caught with more than 1 ounce of any illegal drug should get the death penalty. :D Anyone caught planting evidence...death penalty...:D

I think that is actually the law in several 3rd world countries, isn't it?

I have not smoked pot in over 5 years. I was quoting a song.

My poor typing is attributable to just waking up slowly.

I did but i still wasn't sure whether on not you were serious. :D

If I was serious, there'd be no smilies. I do believe in penalties that match the crime, though. Perhaps bringing back public humiliation as a punishment...
