Okay, I need you all to rake your brains, and tell me... does anyone know of a webhost that I can use for my website, that is relativley ad-free, and gives a decent about of space? (also, since I have no credit card, being free would help )

I have my website with Freeservers which used to be a very decent web host, but they have gone totally spastic. I chose them because they were free, and advertising was done with a banner rather than pop-ups. Now they're doing both the banner and pop-ups. They used to provide site statistics for free, but now you have to pay for them. Basically, they suck. I'm moving my site over to Nettally, my IP. They offer a free web page w/20M as part of the service. Eventually, I'm going to kill the Freeservers site and tell them to get screwed.

i use angelfire, and i dont have a problem with the one ad at the top, and the one popup ad. most other visitors dont seem to have a prob, either.

There's a very small bit of code you can put at the top of your pages to get rid of the pop-up ads on Angelfire sites.

and catocom, as for tripod... every tripod site i go to seems to have popups every three seconds and such
