9-11 happened two years ago today. I can still remember the first time that I heard about what was happening, and first turned on the TV so that I could see the images rolling accross all the channels and see the second airplane smash into the second tower. All of these images are imbedded in my mind.

HOw are you spending the day? Are you doing anything to commemorate the event?

i might go to a prayer group but im not sure. I dont think Ill do too much this year. I know I will have a moment of silence to mourn the dead.

Our building shut down for about 10 minutes this morning, the announced a moment of silence, then played The National Anthem over the intercom. There is also a Memorial service up at the capitol this afternoon, I don't know if I'm going to that yet or not, depends on the day.

Well, it's much like a normal day for me. I'm at work. I've given a moment of silence and I'm keeping an eye on the news online, but that's about all.

I'll spend my day angry that we've not yet kept our promise to the victims...:cuss:
i'll spend my day amazed at the horrible things people will do to each other in the name of right.

:usa: Just Pray for the families and the ones they have lost......
(And like in the thread that Mr.Bishop posted about Brandon and his family) just makes you want to hold your own close and thank god that they are still here with us.

yeah, i used to think it was just white people and i felt so guilty but then i thought about all the crappy stuff other people do and i realized white people aren't alone in being evil.
