Fix yourself a nice little hot toddy, put your feet up and relax. Oh, and call in sick tomorrow, I'm going to. One of the disks in the server quit (not part of the RAID array, of course) and that's what I'll be doing tomorrow if I go in.
 
I split the difference and did a half day. Feeling better, but still pretty much like shit, and I gotta drive 4 hours tomorrow to pick up V2.0 from gramma's.

See, Mondays are already shit, so more shit really doesn't matter. I usually coast through Friday. :shrug:
I wussed out and came in. Disk arrived at 9:30, installed (hot-swappable ;) ) and file system mounted by 10:15. Wouldn't have even had to do that but it's a separate drive from the RAID array. I'm still waiting for the software vendor to finish reinstalling their software.
 
The check engine light continues to come on after 30-40 miles of driving, even after a computer flash. He gets to do it all again (on his dime - I ain't that stupid), but I'm gonna be out a car for another 1-2 days. Whee.
