Gee I'm in Mississauga right now. Where I work.
 
We've been dealing with it on Long Island for years. They had scheduled mass sprayings from planes, you had to make sure you weren't outside when they did it. I don't know anyone who's died from it but my friend did find a dead bird in her backyard and they came to pick it up and do tests on it. :shrug:
 
I think my girlfriend might have had this last year in Fairbanks Alaska. The Neurologysts and doctors over a month of her hospitalization never gave me a conclusive diagnosis. They said maybe encephalitis, maybe meningitis, etc... I think there is a good chance it was West Nile.
 
She's recovered almost totally over the past year and a half(thank god) although i'm not sure her short term memory is what it once was. It's scary to see a beautiful young girl struck down so quickly with something so deadly. A tramatic experience i'll never forget.
