Thanks to the mighty power of Google, I was able to take "bayshops, inc and find out that, if it's the same guy that wrote a few things on epinions.com under TheDOZ (or at the same Bayshops, Inc.) then he lives in Monterey. That's a bit over two hours north of here.
 
Yeah i'm pretty sure that's Madrin. I never met him in person but his name is John, he seems to have the same somewhat abrasive personality(red one of his reviews) and his profile says that he moved from Chicago which is where Dauphin Technology was based.
