I'm curious as to what everybodys present occupation/profession is...

Me, I'm a Media student, I graduate next year.

:devious:

Trying to cell stuff at RadioShack until I get my journalism degree finished up, at which time I'll pursue a career writing for a paper somewhere.

No, really. See, cell phones are my ticket to a higher paycheck. Even if my overall sales suck a fat one and I make the base salary (minimum wage: $6.75/hr) instead of commission, I still get SPIFFs, which are kickbacks for selling cell phones, DSL, extended service plans, etc. My SPIFFs for the two weeks that ended today are going to effectively raise my pay rate by about $1.25 an hour, give or take.

So, yes, I'm trying to cell stuff at RadioShack. :D

I'm a COBOL programmer. I'm currently working on overpayment penalties and restitution.

Until October 29th, I worked as a pseudo buyer/coordinator/admin assistant/executive assistant in the Purchasing (and then Travel) department of a major record company for more than five years. I'm now taking classes to get my real estate salesperson's license, in an effort to one day buy, refurbish then sell houses. We'll see how all that goes. :eyebrow:

In the meantime, my BA in English is being used as birdcage liner, except I don't have a bird. My mother continues to mourn this fact.

yeah, sure. if ya really wanna hear it. not an "oh my god, you need a lawyer" type of story.

I am currently a Vet Tech student and a stay at home mom when my daughter is here with me, so I guess I am a part-time stay at home mom (?) but in May I will be a full time stay at home mom.

i am a first shift waitress at waffle house. i kinda fell into it again when i tried to get a job after 3 years of stay home mommydom and my navy training wasn't getting me a job.

In the past year or so I have been a professional assistant to the executive of one of the biggest banks in Africa, was training & development manager for one of the regional offices of same bank (left because I was moving overseas....and never did). Then I worked as a PA and draughtsperson for a land surveyor (that was fun - especially the draughting bit. Then I worked in sales and now I am a pornstar :D

i'm a architectual assistant with the intention of becoming an architect myself before the end of 2005, presuming i don't phuck up my professional exams.
