What is your favorite recent PC game?

Its pretty good. Its worth the buy to be sure.

Yeah, I rented it first, but I want to buy it. I sometimes wished the driving mechanics were a little more GTA style, but you can unlock some pretty sweet driving maneuvers.
 
I just started playing a classic PC game. A remake of King's Quest 1.

It's available for free here

They also have a remake of King's Quest 2

Mind you, these are 1:1 remakes. It's the exact same as the original, just with better graphics and sound. :D
 
cool. I miss the old KQ games. I grew up on them.


I liked a game called X-wing which was a flight sim based around Star Wars rebellion ships. I also like Dark Forces.
 
Oh, and getting back to the TOPIC, I have Half Life, and I want to start playing Counter Strike eventually.

It's quite fun, but waaaaaaaaaaaay too easy. The end boss barely scratched me on Normal, didn't feel like doing it all over again on Hard.

Yeah. The reviews I read said it was too easy, but otherwise fun.
 
The Battlefield series is what I've been doing.

I'm still hammering at D2 after all this time.

Fallout was fab.
