What must see movies did you never bother with?

I have never seen Titanic and have no desire to see it. I also never saw E.T. though I might watch the video. Now to really date myself I also never saw Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
 
you really should watch ET...it was real good :)

I don't go see any of 'em really, if they come on the movie network, I catch them then if I get a chance.
 
Also Titantic. Did break down and rent it last month though.

I'm a big critic of movies but close encounters is a must see. Even today. It's simply a well told story.
(ET was good when i was a kid but i wouldn't bother with it now)
 
If you ever see ET, be sure to get the original version. The 'updated' one was dumbed down instead of improved. It was put through the PC ringer.

My mom made me see titantic when I was in 4th grade I think.
I saw ET but wasn't really excited about it
 
I've never seen Grease... even though it's a classic blah blah blah, never seen it, no desire to either :D
 
If you ever do watch rocky horror, the ONLY way to do it is at a theater where the freaks show up. It's quite a show when you got a room full of transvestites and other miscelaneous freaks acting out the action. I saw it at some place in Seattle....it was really worth it.

What I find more amusing is that it was actually banned in South Africa when I watched it, and I was by far not the first to see it eithter. In fact I think more people saw it when it was banned than when it was unbanned :alienlol:
 
LOTR: TTT, Godfather Trilogy, Taxi Driver, Gone With The Wind, Dr. Strangelove (got that now, woo!), Bridge On The River Kwai, Lawrence Of Arabia, It's A Wonderful Life, Magnolia, Memento, The Exorcist, The French Connection, The Graduate, The Great Escape, The Italian Job, Apocalypse Now (just bought the Redux version, woo!), Platoon, Requiem For A Dream, Silence Of The Lambs, The Usual Suspects, Vertigo.
 
prof, how can you be any type of computer geek and not have seen star wars? im so disappointed. lol

never saw gone with the wind, don't care either...4 hrs of bad romance....blech.
