What's the best live gig you've ever been to?

Kid Rock, March 29, 2002. Savvis Center St Louis, Missouri. My 32nd Birthday.

another hard decision.

one of the best had to be went i saw
98 mute
straight faced
union 13
7 seconds
h2o

all in one nite at my home town. it cost like 7 bucks and was very very fun. probaly not the best performances ever but it was so damn fun.

kid rock?? :(

i hate that summa bitc

GWAR was totally rad too :) but not nearly the best or most fun.

I got to go see Rodger Hodgson of Supertramp a month or so ago...the guys put a couch for me onstage just behind the curtain, beside the sound booth, with my own speakers, one on either side of the couch... I got to recline and watch Rodger and just listen... it was SUPERB!!

red hot chili peppers at the reading festival 96

visually the peppers ruled - encore with flaming firemans helemts on :hairbang:

when I saw them they had these big screens with...basically...a porn film running on them. :D
It was pretty cool though. I don't normally like the whole flames and fireworks type of rock show.

AC/DC Back in Black tour at the old boston garden

That would have been cool. I went to a Metallica concert back in the early 90's, wish I could remember more of it, I'm sure it was a great show.

my ears were ringing for a week. the old garden was such an acoustic challenge that the bands always brought in enough speakers and amps to be heard several blocks away. i liked the show so much, i went to see them the next 2 times they were in town.

the WHO, 1989, Lakewood Ampitheatre, Atlanta... 3 1/2 hours of top notch performance, perfect sound balance, no opening act.

Pink Floyd '88 Nassau Coliseum (Momentary Lapse of Reason; my first concert at 16)
Pink Floyd '93 Yankee Stadium (Division Bell... They only played two songs from that album and then most of Dark Side along with all my other favorites)
