I understand Samcurry but like i said I'd like to think this country would be above that. They are only doing what they think is best, they have a natural right to do so. We can choose to pay no mind and go on appreciating our homalands or get in an uproar and express anger towards those who will never hear our words.

The citizens like you know the beauty of your land and they don't....don't you win then?
 
yes i do win, but its not headline news nor should it ever be.
it would be like me trying to get an audience with the president to tell him how to run the country. would i get it? no should it make the 6:00 news no i would hope not. It just seems like everytime a celebrity farts we gotta read about it. or hear about it on the news.

..because it is a proven crowd pleaser and a ratings monster no matter if pertienent happenings are hapenning around the world or not. It sells papers and makes for good conversation against celeberties and their egos. Face it...bored housewives and gossip hungry people eat this up.

Consumer interest dictates the content of newspapers and News to a significant extent.
