True, but the Steve Martin flick was more up-to-date. The best way to see it would be Jose first, followed immediately by Steve. Get the best of both worlds...

The Dépardieu version would've been great if he weren't so darned... um, husky. He didn't cut a very dashing figure, but there was power in the performance. I like hearing the French, too.

han and leia, anakin and amidala. lukes aunt and uncle are still married although they get killed very early off in the first and best trilogy.
