Where are they now?

All the peacenics & human shields?

When America & friends were about to begin a war with Iraq, they flocked there to put an end to the self-serving, shameless, wanton disregard for human life.

The terrorists are now attacking UN buildings, the Red Cross (Crescent?), police stations & anyone willing to speak up in the name of democracy & freedom for the Iraqi people.

Not a word could be heard from teh anti-freedom demonstrators. Hmmmm

We can't find Sadam or Usama and you want us to worry about some non-combatents who staged a publicity stunt? :confuse3:

you didn't find him because the soviet forces were given free reign in berlin for a fey days before us and uk forces entered the city. anything of interest was swiped.

True but that free reign cost them over 400,000 men.

Yup and coalition incompetence at finding Ladan and Hussein is costing on average 20 attacks on coaliation forces a day  ........ not to mention countless civilian casualties.

Maybe two of the most dangerous men in the world have disguised themselves as peaceniks

I'd be happy to see the US forces go back to military tactics & utterly destroy Tikrit, which would put an end to most of this. That is where a majority of the problem stems from. But then all you that don't understand war & peace would cry foul.

The northern part od Iraq (the Kurdish area) is so completely benign that they are embarassing the Turks with their democratic enclaves & capitalistic means. Turkey only pretends those things.

The southern half of the country is so peaceful that the British troops aren't armed in many of their patrols.

It's the sunni triangle that the US is still engaged & the enemy is divided between Ba'athists & foreign terrorists. The civilian populace is happy saddam is gone & is in no hurry for the coalition of the willing to depart.

Would you prefer these attacks occur in Brooklyn? or perhaps Regents Park would more suit you.

Not at all..........but while the "human shield" seems to have done a vanishing act (as you were so happy to point out) .... so have Sadam and Osama (as Squiggs pointed out).

So are you happy that the peaceniks action against war has failed? or that multi billion $'s worth of armed agression is continuing to bring casualties?

Maybe the capture of Sadam would have exactly the same effect as nuking them?

I'm pointing out that they aren't what they claimed. According to their statements they were against aggression of any kind. It happens their actions speak louder...they are against America taking action when the UN wouldn't. They believe that Tony Blair is the devil incarnate & saddam was a misunderstood ruler. They prefer violence & bloodshed on from a dictator to multilateral action to end repression & genocide. They hate the US & they hate sovereignty. They can't stand the fact that a nation can & should control it's own destiny & remove threats to that end. They hate what they claim to stand for. Peace, if it threatens thier ideological & politically motivated ideals.

.......or the fact that they wanted PROOF that Iraq was the threat that both the US and UK governments were saying they were.

Still, after all the reasons that have been used as justification for the invasion are finally proved to be the stinking bovine excrement that it is, I'm sure that the Iraq' war will go down in history as a great battle for humanitarian rights

Waits patiently for the "Yes, we should have left Sadam in power.....look what happened with Hitler" tireade...

maybe they didnt want to be blown up? that or they were proven that the terrorist isnt peaceful and they want peace on both ends. @ prof
