Where do you live, and is it nice?

Les, is that a nuke zone map? Sure looks like one.
Anyway, i don't live in the states... In fact, i live in Sweden. Any questions about Sweden or Europe should be directed my way. :) Sweden is a nice country, a bit boring though... And no, we dont have nudist beaches everywhere, as some people seem to think...
The women are nice though.

maybe Kawaii...maybe it's a stay out of this zone or the effects of Leslie will forever damage you *evil laugh*

next time your down, let me know, me an Uki Chick now all the good places, she used to work down there

I haven't been in yeeeeeeeears. I loved it down there though when I used to get there, it's beautiful, and a different atmosphere than anywhere else I've been.

before that, my Aunt lived on Rue St. Jacques so I got to have fun downtown exploring too when I was able to escape the 'rents :D

Greenwood, IN, USA: a little piece of hell above ground. Hehe, j/k

Mostly fast food dining, some actual restaurant dining (either in the city or within a few mile drive). Main job sectors - just about everything except computer repair.

Some hot chicks.

Little to no public transportation (at least, I've never seen any), no universities.

Downsides, you need to be able to speak dumbass, broadband availability is limited.

It's a decent city, there's a bar named "The Bar", it's fairly cleanish, good roads, low-medium average crime rate. (Don't live in a trailer park here, the crime rate average is messed up by these areas)

I work near downtown, and went to school right in the heart of old montreal, it's a lovely place

I'd imagine because it'd go somethin like this:

"Texas, USA

We got, uhh... the death penalty. And big stuff.

President Bush is from here.

Yeah, sorry about that."

:rofl4:

...just kidding, don't hurt me :crying3:

point taken, Texas is out

OOH! i liked texas! and now houston has a football team! i think houston has good public transportation but i don't know. big city. i lived in south texas outside corpus christi...that was cool but nothing for miles, so you need a car....tyler was okay...very booming. almost to busy for it's size...the keep saying it's gonna merge with this other town it is so close to...*shrugs* thats in north texas. hill country. i liked south texas better.

I live in New Yawk. Nuff said. ;)

Ok well... maybe I'll say a few more words. :)

To the north you have "upstate", sprawling landscape, farms, lots of snow in winter.

NYC has, well, everything. If you've got the money. And aren't afraid of the subways. Which I am. ;)

Long Island (my home) is also pretty diverse. Western LI is much like city living and to the east is wine country and farmland. Right in the middle of this suburbia is where I grew up, Levittown. The further east you go, the more open areas you have, the more land you can own, the more you need a car to get around. Usually younger people work their way east as they get older and start their own families.

Cons: soooo expensive to live here. Expensive to rent, even more expensive to own. Property taxes are high and housing prices are insanely high right now. So are rents if you want something decent. But you get paid more too so it evens out. The transit system is really complicated at first but it's the only way to go if you go anywhere near NYC. And the NY attitude also probably takes a bit of getting used to.

Pros: You want it, you got it. Landmarks, culture, shows, entertainment, beaches, all kinds of places to live, you have accessibility to just about anything at all times. Four seasons of weather and none of them are too extreme normally. There's just so much you can do if you're active.

Morelia, Mexico

Pros: beautiful city, nice and calm.
Cons: is a shithole, just like the rest of Mexico.
