THIS SITE goes into the details of how the Dept. of Homeland Security was quick to issue warnings on right wing extremists and wants to know whether they will do the same for left wing extremists.

I enjoy news & politics (can't you tell?) but I don't have the time or resources to do it myself. That is the job of the press.

Decisions need to be made on full & correct information. If something is withheld, you can't know all the facts & therefore you can't make an informed decision. That is what the press is doing all too often.
 
There's not enough time in the day for full information on all newsworthy topics. Even with much of the fluff removed, you still need editors to decide what's going on the air/in print and what won't. If you want the complete story, you HAVE to go to multiple sources and learn to cut the dross yourself.

right. you can't make an informed decision. it's just too hard to process and sift through the obvious slants of various news outlets. like, um rachel maddow and rush limbaugh are just so difficult to figure out.

maybe just stick to less challenging material then?
