Do you suppose it's just a ploy to get Intel to stop dragging their feet on Itanium (if that's what their doing)?
 
I *heart* AMD and I *heart* HP for putting AMD in some of their laptops :D
 
Dell has been Intel's lap-dog since their inception. They're trying to drum up business, but I think they're a bit too late...

Yeah...they shoulda been smart enough to know that variety is what sells. Don't tell me I only have one choice...cause even if it's something I'd consider I prolly wouldn't buy from someone who offered me no choice.
 
all i know is that after plugging for amd for years, i'm very pleased with my current desktop and laptop, which are both running Intel.
