50 babies a year born alive after abortion

Well the reason this caught my eye in particular is because I don't think people realise that not only are babies "viable" after 24 weeks of gestation, but they are even capable of surviving a process being carried out to kill them. It's also grossly unfair to ask doctors to carry out medical...

    World AIDS day

I don't think it started from people having sex with monkeys, seems more likely it somehow transmitted to someone involved in hunting or slaughtering monkeys or other creatures in Africa. The hunter(s) then passed it on to prostitute(s) living along the so-called "AIDS highway" in Africa...

50 babies a year born alive after abortion

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,8122-1892696_1,00.html I don't know what the limit is for abortions in the US, but the UK limit always seems exceptionally high. I'm utterly against abortion, and I fail to see how anyone can argue that it is anything other than infanticide in the...

    Hate when that happens

Several people make the important decisions, though they've all got quite a lot of money behind them. No nation is run in an ethical manner. I would put it to you that invoking God in your national motto is an insult to God if your nation fails to do everything it possibly can to operate...

Or the one which has awareness as its most effective treatment.

I don't question God, since God doesn't answer. I question your idea of God. Specifically, why you invoke God in your national motto. What's the harm in asking?

    Hate when that happens

So how the USA, your government and the nation as a whole, is run in such a way that you believe Jesus Christ would approve? Or, again, is it that you believe God is directing your nation to act as it does?

    Truth hurts, pal

Who told you they are not?

Hardly. I was merely asking which version of God you believe you have the moral conviction of. It is questionable, there are clearly at least two main depictions of God given by the Bible: the tribal war God of the Hebrews and the God of Christ.

Where are the vigilantes when you need em?

I don't understand how such deals can be made with a suspect or how, even then, the deal can still stand when it was clearly made in bad faith (evidence held back by her lawyer).

How did you come by the same conclusion about me, then?

I could say the same of any of you.

    Hate when that happens

How did you get that from what I said? What I think of God is irrelevant here. My personal motto is not "In God I Trust." I don't believe that God influences me on a day to day basis, I believe that I am my own man and my decisions come from myself. I don't try to find a cosmic justification...

That is what your explanation means, Gonz. Your morals and convictions are guided by God, you say. What tangible effect does this have? Is social policy handed down from Heaven?

Maybe if you repeat it enough times, you'll start believing it yourself.
