24" cables - yay or nay?

...and the more I think of it, the more I'm unsure if my setup would allow a PCB sticking out so far behind the HDD. Methinks the memory would block it....not sure without looking though.

Move it up to a 5.25 bay with brackets, runs cooler too.

Haven't opened my SATA cables....might not be long enough for that.
