Bomb manuals, suspected steroids and a copy of Adolf Hitler’s “My New Order” were among the items seized during the recent FBI raids targeting Hutaree, federal search warrant records show.

.................

Agents seized military uniforms, a ballistic helmet, samurai sword, crossbow, parachute flares and other items. Investigators also seized audio of “The Turner Diaries,” which is a novel that militia watchdog groups say provided inspiration to Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh. In addition, agents seized a CD, “Explosives, Ordnance & Demolitions,” and the book “My New Order” by Adolf Hitler, records show. Investigators also recovered 46 firearms and more than 13,000 rounds of ammunition, documents show.

I just looked over the inventory seized. Got about half way through before I couldn't take it any more. 95% of what they've seized you'd find in my house. A box of sharp metal bits ... ooooooo. a day planner. It's true what they say ... if they want to find you guilty of something, they've made enough laws by now that they'll find something to charge the most innocent of men with. Although raiding a licensed gun shop operating out of a guys house and finding ... guns .... is that really newsworthy?

It's just a list of what was seized..not what was relevant. They have to list things so they're not accused of theft and can use said items in criminal court.

Since when do you have potassium chlorate in a tub, cannon fuses, bomb making how-to books, liquid teargas, BPvests etc?

Perfectly innocent items..all of them.

Adolf Hitler’s “My New Order” = Fundamentally Changing America into a National Socialist Nation.

Huratree militia member Jacob J. Ward, 33, of Huron, Ohio, voted as a Democrat in the 2004 and 2008 primary elections, and in 10 other elections since 2000.

Yeah, I know. That guy probably wishes liberal were anti-christian but it's weird how he ignores that most US liberals are actually christian.

I think it's beginning to ad up here! Seems they were taking advantage of the momentum to push for a national socialist state.

(I didn't see any Reagan posters mentioned as evidence)

Still waiting for the Reichstag Fire.

It looks like another attempt to paint militia groups as terrorists. What they have is not illegal to posses.

On a side note, did you know the ATF were told not to come into work the day of the Oklahoma City bombing?

Timothy McVeigh felt he was right also, to the detriment of innocent Americans.

There is nothing wrong with militia groups in general. Militia groups don't need what this group had in inventory.

Goth, since you magically have a listing of the private voting records of the members of Hutaree, perhaps you can post all of them. :)

As I recall, the way your laws are written, it's not ever a matter of need. They're entitled to whatever they want unless it's specifically limited. None of this is. None of it. Similarly, your politicians ARE specifically limited in the powers they may hold. They like to act as tho that's not the case either. And so long as the media works for them convincing the sheep that their opposition is the scary bad guy ... they'll continue to take privilege as they please.

Bish ... it's been quite a while since either of us entered the other's house. I'll wager you've not a clue what I might have. I will tell you this, again. The plans for a Sten machine gun are readily available on the web, and takes only a minimum of machine shop still to build. In fact, a highschool shop class would cover everything except possibly the heat treating and annealing. Potassium chlorate is potentially a primer component, but not alone. In fact, there's many more easily and more reliable sources ... reloading primers specifically.

I was wondering when this thread would turn into Obama-bashing.
As Spike pointed out, some people just feel Obama hasn't gone far enough and they want national socialism REALLY bad. they're 'prolly just trying to encourage more actions to bring about martial law.

As for the rest of the voter registrations. I'm not sure how they all voted but they are "like minded people." Maybe you can go out and do some research.

I think it was more of the planned murder of police officers that got them in trouble.

Yes, but that's not what the media is reporting, is it? They're making sure the people equate armed militias with dangerous terrorists.
