couple of people i met tonight

had the usual crop of visitors today. had 2 that stood out....

1. Patient A is assaulted by Individual B. Individual B's spouse comes in and tries to finish what Individual B started. Patient A was uninjured. no bruises or cuts or anything.

2. my favorite. Patient B is caught breaking in to someones house. Homeowner catches Patient B. Homeowner whacks Patient B on the head with a baseball bat. Patient B is a 20-something. Homeowner is 60-something and apparently looks 90-something. when asked by the police how hard Homeowner swung the bat, the reply was "well, its a baseball bat. how hard are you supposed to swing it?" Patient B got a bunch of sutures and was sent to jail.
 
Patent B hopefully got what little he/she has upstairs broken lose of the cobwebs and will cease doing further stupid shit.
 
You gotta wonder how they explain the softball size sweeling comng outta the side of their head.

You know damn well they aren't gonna admit some old geezer took a bat to their ass.

the room was right next to the station. we weren't exactly subtle about it either....
 
the cop that was with Patient B was back in the ER about 20 minutes later with another knucklehead. DUI arrest that got mouthy with the cops. claiming a wrist injury from the cuffs....

You mean his head? If it was taken to his ass... then don't you think the softball-size swelling would be down there? :D
