These attacks on 4th Amendment rights by your guys have been going on for quite some time with your support. That is just the latest one. Should we label it Marxism or some such and consider you a Marxist?
Not Marxist, but you'd have to read the manifesto to understand that. It's possible to label it authoritarian but, without further knowledge, I prefer to call it a cost of war. One that can be, and will be, overturned.

You advocated in the past that people who get married be forced by the government to stay married. That is a nanny state anti-freedom idea if I ever heard one.

Nah. A nanny state would force you to get married in the first place-to a bride/groom of their selection. This would be the state enforcing a legal contract.

We'll call it Fascist. Since you mis-label shit Marxist. And it's typical that you don't care about the Constitution here and write it off as justified by farce. You have absolutely no evidence that it will be overturned either.

See how easy it is to get you to support stripping the public of Constitutional rights?

No, that would be a nanny state getting unnecessarily involved in the publics personal decisions. Enforcing personal relationships aginst the will of the individual and removing yet more freedoms.

Stalinist.

Fascism....how is attacks on the 4th nationalistic?

Stalinist....state terror & communistic principles require a contract to be binding? No wonder you're confused.

I'm not confused at all. I'm pointing out the silliness of your mis-labeleing things on order to not have to think about them.

Seems the main thing you've proved here is that once again you openly support nanny state activities and removing Constitutional freedoms.

um, i was (obviously) joking? i think you're the one who put those two in adjacent stalls. lots of grunting. maybe some footsie too.

though, hey, i guess russia -> soviet union was superficially feudal -> commie though substantially the resulting state would have made uncle karl puke. and not just because it violated his hegelian progression.

The former Soviet Union was more of an elected monarchy with just enough socialism thrown in to keep the people in line...but I'm sure you knew that. ;)

Neat. A valued member takes his leave in the middle of this, and noone even slows long enough to take notice. Nice to know my sabbatical wasn't a complete waste of time.

Well, since he still posts at another board I frequent, and I can get a hold of him on myspace as well, I don't really feel a need to start a petition or something to get him to come back if he doesn't want to.

Question: How many Marxists does it take to screw in a Capitalist light-bulb?

Answer: None, because the Capitalist light-bulb contains the seeds of its own revolution.
