Oh I know where your little nation of convicts is
:erm: My friend, you're already confusing us with Australia... Australia used to be a Penal colony, not N.Z.

Whose dragging out the insults and name-calling now? and you're calling me an under-educated 'teeny-bopper'?

Under educated maybe - I have about 5 years to go yet if I wanna do post-grad

I take offence to the teeny-bopper part :D

and Gaia's 'bumhole' is just wrong :eyebrow:

PS: I think it's great that according to recent polls... your opinion means very little to the majority of people in mostly every other developed nation in the world.

When you attempt to draw ethical ideologies between the President of the United States, the leader of the free-world, and Adolf Hitler. You have shown your true lack of intelectual thinking, knowledge, and credibility.

So if you want to make the comparison that I find not only offensive, but I feel your trying for reaction, I will gladly respond in kind.

Mee thinks you have your head in the clouds.

I admit I don't have much knowledge as to how NZ became populated by white folk, why dont you tell me.

Comment all you like about our president. It's going to change jack shit. We have the freedom to vocally denounce our leader; many nations cannot dream of having that. However, do not expect all people to share your opinions.

I for one support the president in most things. Some of his policies do not 100% line up with what I would like to see happen. That's OK, he never asked me personally what I thought about them. I do relish the freedom to disagree with my leaders however. It is a freedom hard won by the sacrifices of many thousands.

To make snide little inferences on one country's leader and to continually attempt to create discord shows just how small you really are. If anyone in any country rose to a position of power and possessed your level of egomaniacal self importance, I would expect military action to closely follow to have that person overthrown. You simply never cease to amaze me with your ignorance, your short-sightedness, your arrogance, your lack of insight, or your stupidity. For that, I think I owe you a debt of gratitude...you are more amusing than you could ever possibly realize. Picking your posts apart is easier than falling off a bicycle.

I am comforted to know that, so far as recorded history can validate, no one with your level of ignorance has ever done anything meaningful in their lifetime. I ain't exactly looking to you to be any sort of standard bearer. You are to intelligent discussion what William Hung is to entertainment: a black eye, soon to be forgotten by all who are unfortunate enough to be exposed to you.

The very insignificance your opinions possess on any serious matter beyond feeding your ever-growing need for self promotion baffles the adult mind. I would expect your level of maturity from a preschool child; the fact that you have managed to survive as long as you have while blanketed in this layer of absolute stupidity is testament to the constant and unwavering amount of care that must surely have been devoted to you by someone, somewhere. Their efforts are to be commended; I'm certain that without them you would have drowned in a rainstorm long ago.

Carry on, as I am sure you will. Keep tugging that boulder up your slope, all in the name of martyrdom and ego fulfillment. Should you ever decide to channel all that energy into something worthwhile, you would surely go far in life.

But probably not far away enough to suit those around you.

Good day.

That's right. They just want our cash and our culture. They don't wear Levi's in Beijing for nothing, sister.

19th Century Colonisation ....not that that has much to do with what I'm talking about here - you are trying to challenge the topic through a completely irrelevant point.

Colonisation is not something I would defend or be proud of either :eyebrow: if thats what you're trying to trip me up on...

Obviously I can't deny that is part of my heritage as a Caucasian New Zealander (ie: Pakeha) - but it doesn't have anything much to do with who I am as an individual in 2005.

Thats as stupid as asking why the U.S is populated with 'white' people -
why is it populated with 'black'...?

We entered World War 2 for economic reasons? I wasn't aware that Japan performing a sneak assault on Pearl Harbor was a market fluctuation. I could of sworn it was a military attack.

I thought we were told to choose a side and when this happened it made our decision? either way I think you are right there ;)

Considering that the majority of the rest of the world with enough courage to speak out opposes the present American administration, there is nothing to do but persist in making these voices of discontent heard loud and clear.

Speak up. We can't hear you over the din over the re-election victory party of GW Bush. The re-election was American shorthand for who cares what you think.

*would like to kindly remind people that just cos someone is critiquing US foreign policy, there is no call for derogating an entire nation of kiwis. *handonhip

Incidentally, Bush IS dragging the US to hell in a handbasket. Why is he funding a possible attack on Iran when the US economy is fuxxored? :hmm:

It's like laughing at Canadians. There are some goods ones, somewhere, and we know it.

He was re-elected by a majority so the handbag is selling well. Wanna know why? Because our economy is kicking ass.

We were NOT giving aid to the Nazis. We were, in fact, supplying the British.

I have no idea who you are learning history from but this country, at no time, ever gave any aid to the Nazi regime. We were, however, pouring millions of tons of raw materials and other aid into Britain from the onset of WWII in Europe, September 1939 until the end in May 1945.

Hitler never received any sort of aid from the United States Government at any point in time. Now, if some pro-Nazi group that was formed in the 30's supplied any aid I have no idea, although these groups, what little there were, quickly went to curb when Hitler started WWII and it's former members were quick to distance themselves from it at that point so I can't see them providing much of anything to them from 1939 to the end in 1945.

As for American corporations, sure, there were many active companies in Europe before the outbreak of WWII and some of those were even used by the Nazi's during the war for they're own purposes, such as the Ford and GM plants in Cologne (which were decimated during the fire bombing), but, one must realize that these plants were not run by either Ford or GM during the war. In fact, these plants were taken over by the Nazi regime for these purposes. These plants produced a tremendous amount of the regimes war supplies, like tanks and so forth, but it they were not under the control or administration of either company during the war. Therefore, we never contributed to the war. Heck, at that time the U.S. Army intelligence was watching what Ford was doing over there. Our government never partook, nor condoned, any kind of aid to these criminals.

Why is it seemingly acceptable to make references to Hitler
