no cell phone use in cars

shove that cel up your ass for all I care

I can't possibly make the slightest decision
regarding what my actions should be from one
moment to the next without the government
being involved.

But more importantly winks, ....who did you vote for this week on dancing with the stars?

My, how far we have come since the days of Rome.

Studies have shown all kinds of stuff. The interstate is about as good a place as any to talk on the phone while driving. All vehicles going one direction. No cross streets. Limited access. Seems relatively safe.

So with that logic, DUI on the interstate should be fine as well.

The Feds should legislate every detail.

That's right driving drunk shouldn't be a crime.

Getting into an accident while intoxicated is another matter.

Come to think of it, how is a victimless crime a crime at all?

Driving Under the Influence...Crime.

Driving While Intoxicated....Subjective.

Driving with a Blood Alcohol Level Above (X)...prosecutors wet dream.

Dave you're missing the point. This is a local problem, not a national one.

Also, Winky is right. We have way too many thought crimes.

One more time...

I want that person off the roads. I don't care what law they use to do it.

national...local...whatever...

C'mon Gonz... you are above making excuses or rationales for DUI...

Los Angeles drivers are always a moving hazard with/without a cell phone, I want them off my roads.

Illegal aliens, I want them off my roads too.

Any suggestions?

It's people thinking like Dave
that have caused us to be in the situation
we currently find ourselves in.

The government thinks it can write a law
on any fricken thing it wants too.

Public transportation is the only answer for real safety. Everyone should be subject to safety searches and only allow passengers to carry-on food properly ID'd and bar coded. Of course all non-regular trips should have preapproval from the travel commission. people who fail on their healthcare payments, taxes or alimony, and those who show signs of dissent, should be put on the no-travel list.

The few vehicles that should be allowed to operate on the roads should be emission free with unionized operators.

it would be a big win for safety and it would save planet, who doesn't want that?

The Bill of Rights does not include a "Right to Drive". Want to drive, then play by the rules. Not too hard to figure...;)
