Doesn't matter who wins. There will be enough angst and disappointment on the loser side to make the winner marginal at best, anyway.

I hope that most people would vote their conscience with no regard for skin color but I don't have a lot of confidence that this will be the case.

would be ideal in a pefect world, but we dont live there.

in fact, i would hope more people vote educated (about the office and its limits) than by their conscience. i would prefer to see more people vote informed than empassioned. but it wont happen.

It looks like 136.6 million Americans will have voted for president this election, based on 88 percent of the country's precincts tallied and projections for absentee ballots, said Michael McDonald of George Mason University. Using his methods, that would give 2008 a 64.1 percent turnout rate.
