I had a nice lake next to my house at that age and had a sturdy dirt bike. I used to tear up and down all over and back ... many falls. I have the scarred knuckles to prove it.

We used to skate around Watermead...do some tricks down by the stepping stones. Feed the ducks and skip merrily over the hilly brush...

Wherever there's an airport, I can be there, and I don't really have any other plans for my vacation time. I can walk to O'Hare, the hard part is sneaking on board... :D

Anyone interested in real pizza (aka, Chicago style)? ;)

Maybe all the pizza places are owned by gangsters and the employees dress up like Al Capone. You can buy a Calabrese and get a 1930's machine gun for free...

Chicago was the general origin for really good over the top thick pizzas. Pizzeria Uno, Lou Malnatis ... absolutely wonderful stuff. They do the best americano style pizza on the planet. Its sort of like saying : 'you have to go to Buffalo, NY for real buffalo wings.. or Philadelphia for a cheesteak'. Chicagos pizzas are a national signature.
