Readyboost on Vista

Can't. No support for the software suite I use for work (the old one or the new one). Of course, in linux you just compile a new kernel (bigmem) with support for more memory if you want it, regardless of processor architecture.

Actually IE seven in full screen mode (toggle F11-F10)
with the proper use of keyboard shortcuts is rather kool.

I put Vista on my sister in laws machine (upgrade from the manufacturer). Since she does so little, I thought it'd be safe.

In the 2 weeks since, twice she's had No Operating System (OS) Found happen upon boot. Of course, I'm working 10-12 hour days so I can't get to it.

Thanks Bill

"upgrades" are the deevil!
(have been since DOS to Win 3.1)
If you have the option load it clean from a
completely wiped drive state or all you'll
have heartache and toil.

I installed Vista back in early June and the only problem I encountered had to do with the UAC feature and installation of BF 2142. Once UAC was turned off (which does little to effect security) the game installed just fine. And as of now, that is honestly the only problem I have had with the machine...
