I'm getting a 'you must register' page.
I don't do much registering...
What is it supposed to say?

Says that much of the funds have been payed back.

"We" who?

I'm glad you think so though.

"We" is the majority of America that believes in cutting out useless middlemen and saving taxpayers billions as reflected in the poll.

1.) paid back to the Gov, or the Gov paid back the treasury?

2.) the Majority of All the Americas maybe, but the U.S., I doubt.

The treasury.

Read the poll.

1.) great! I wonder why this hasn't made BIG news???

2.) I only take certain polls into account.
I'm very selective, and not just if it fits my personal views.
Too many "polls" are simply propaganda.

Which poll specifically are you referring too?

Wait for the poll showing "job increases" when in actuality it will be 750,000 census workers in temporary jobs. -- stimulus is working :circle:

Lowest taxes statement= true. I had already heard and read this.

As for GM paying back their bailout, all they did was take out another TARP fund loan to pay back the other one. They're still in the shitter and I doubt they will survive. But that's fine by me. Weak companies should be weeded out. That's how it goes.

1.) I hear nothing, and still have seen nothing about where the original
600+ billion in tarp funds was returned to the treasury.
What I see is that not all of it has been paid bad to the gov. yet, and NONE
has been returned to the treasury.
You do know that the Treasury is Not the Government, don't you?

I'm not sure what your missing here cat. Are you intentionally not reading this stuff?

Can you link me to the stuff you read about him and the felon stuff please?

1.) I'm not missing anything.
You haven't shown me where any of the fund were paid back to the treasury from the fund given to the government.

2. I didn't say he was a felon, I asked if he was the one. (there's a couple)
can't you read and follow links from the one I posted?
(providing a direct link doesn't work, and you have to have an account...)

Ten big banks get go-ahead to repay $68 billion in TARP funds
Ten other lenders have longer road to repayment, including Citi, Wells, B. of
By Ronald D. Orol & Alistair Barr, MarketWatch

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- A group of 10 large financial institutions were given the go-ahead by the Treasury Department Tuesday to repay $68 billion in government money, freeing them from limits on executive compensation and dividends.

"These repayments are an encouraging sign of financial repair, but we still have work to do," said Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner in a statement.

Treasury doesn't expect to ask Congress for more bailout money, partly because the department can re-use the $68 billion if needed to support other lenders later, he added.

Cat, you're attachment doesn't show anything relevant.

I'm asking you to provide links to why you think he is a joke and why you were asking if he was a felon. (Preferably from the big 3).

They got the go ahead from the treasury, because they had the say on the regulation.
the banks repaid the "Government"
The government did not then return it to the treasury.
The Government still has it.
The Treasury does Not have it.

on Holland...forget it man
I just don't find his little poll credible.
I guess you do because it lines up with what you want to believe.
Do you have any others?
