I never much cared for them myself (was and am a street bike guy) but the reason they went to four wheels is because folks treated them like a motorized baby-sitter. Then, when junior (with no training and no skills) inevitably got hurt, Gonz's lawyers said, "Say, those guys at Honda have a lot of money. I'll bet we can convince some fuckwit judge to rule that it's their fault. Yeah, yeah, junior's fucked but we just won the lottery!"

They are the ones yelling discrimination if the cookie has one extra M&M in one particular piece. They are not absolutely the motivating factor (see the Three Strikes laws) but they are the arbiter to it getting this stupid.

i doubt it. if anything they're symptomatic. don't know many lawyers, do you?
