80's music rules... except for the Heavy Metal shit, and the early rap shit, and certain top forty bands that I didn't care for like REO Speedwagon and (quick somebody cut off their fucking) Air Supply...

What's good about 80s music is that it just tried to be fun. It didn't try to be deep, or depressing (which teenagers often confuse for the same thing). It had a good beat and you could dance to it. Girls just wanted to have fun, and guys were cool with that. It was a fun decade if you ask me...
