What happens if you ignore someone?

The ignore function is evil and childish...

I'm on Profs list... for some reason he loves to keep reminding me of the fact

I pretty much don't put people on ignore... those I don't want to be bothered by are usually people who have a "problem" with me like Prof who oblige me by adding my name to their list!

I've only put a small handful of people on ignore. Two from this board (RM & Winky when they were behaving like juveniles), and a coupla people from another board (one of whom was "stalking" me via PM, and the ignore function allows you to block their PMs). It does come in handy occasionally, but it's not something I yank out every time someone bugs me.

I see it as a last resort really... I don't take its application lightly.

to date only 2 people have made it to my ignore list. Neither are on there now. My problem is I cant ignore freako104. Bastard
