I do find it funny that we have a few "drive through" liquor stores though

Your state doesn't hold with the "no drinking and driving" thing then.... or maybe they're just trying to bring in more revenue from the fines, like our lot do with speed camaras?

Are you talking about outside, inside?? Lot of people have yellow lights so as to not attract bugs but it isnt required. Heck, I have then outside my house.

I know Oklahoma has requirements on how big the sign can be but anything goes here.
