Why we chose Dish over cable

The only reason to have cable hooked to yer house is
to access the internet. 57 channels and nothing on...

mebbe these guys said it even better?

Strangley enough I have 256\256K cox cable internet for only $25.00 a month (no taxes on internet only)
and the cable hooked to the regular TV antenna.
(prolly bop on out to the tap, pull the filter
and hook meself up with channels 2 through 99 soon enough though)
I just finished my one night a week of TV viewing:
E-Ring
Veronica Mars
CSI NY

That's the whole point; how much you pay versus how much you use it. If we used half of the internet access we did, I wouldn't want cable. I'd go with DSL or something; it's slower but it's cheaper. Same thing with the channels, we don't watch a lot of regular scheduled shows but will always sit down to a movie if it's on. Especially with the cold weather coming.

I just looked at the Silver package from their site. If that package was here, I'd drop Dish in a minute.
NY may be expensive and crowded and all that but we get thrown a bone once in a while. :D
