Why Would United States Senators Vote to Protect Corporations Over Rape Victims?

not if your contract is worded that you can't.

you can try, but the lawyers file and injunction, and it is thrown out of court.
Bull, you have the right to file motion and move forward with a compelling argument. You cannot sign away your right to redress of grievance.

The US has jurisdiction if it happened on base or directly connected to an assigned duty. If they were not, it was Iraq laws.

They passed a law against rape, so it won't happen again?
Or is that,
Now there is a law against not prosecuting the crime of rape
so it won't happen again
or
Now it's legal to prosecute a rape in Iraq
or um
Al Franken is an idiot?

Happens all the time RM. Civil contracts are binding under law. Hell, you can give up your right to a trial by jury.

As far as retro-in a military situation, they can hand authority for cases that happened during occupation/battle/etc. They don't have our Constitution.

well, someone is an idiot

the bill isn't about rape, it's about who the US does business with, and what clauses they have on their contracts.

it's about who the US does business with, and what clauses they have on their contracts.

However, the US must enforce current contracts, as they sit.

The complaint is, the federal gov't is, once again, overstepping their authority.

how, this girl is shit out of luck.

it's about future actions.

and how is the federal gov't stepping out of it's bounds my being particular with who it does business with.

I don't watch Mel Gibson movies, I don't make anyone else not watch them (even in my own house) am I overstepping my bounds?

No it doesn't, it a liberal feel-good ideology that the world needs more justice and law. More than anything else its just away to attack non-socialist ideals.

how?

by being picky with who one does business with?

so my your reasoning if bin-laden came in with the lowest big we should do business with him.

and anyway socialist ideas are better than your capitalist BS.

I would love to see the USA get rid of ALL socialist ideas and ideals, that way I can watch it burn.
