it depends if you actually identify the term with yourself or not. you'd prefer not to be described a conservative, i see no reason not to extend the same consideration to those who prefer labels not added to them.

Just thought I'd toss you some scraps to have fun with. ;) In reality, I'm as aware as everyone else of the dangers of excessive pollution; I simply don't think there is the appropriate level of technological sophistication yet to deal with the problem economically. Why spend a billion dollars today when that money spent on research could ultimately solve the problem sooner and cost less in total?

Or something like that... sounds good on paper at least. :)

It's the difference between coming up with technological solutions vs. abandoning technology altogether. Environmentalists want to do the latter.
