Good for her. Very good. And they'll probably get boned for it. There's a term for this I can't bring to mind right now, something...virtual firing. She could quit and find something else, but she shouldn't have to.

I wish I could find the story of the guy who worked for the California Prison System around here who had the same thing done to him.

If it were me, I'd probably be very well-read and well-practiced at Tetris... and a lot wealthier than I am now.

Ethics...I wouldn't work so little for more than a year or two (or three) before resigning my position.

I wish this story would get much wider exposure. Why does the state think it's a-ok to waste MY tax dollars on crap like this? For $100,000, she should be going to Brooklyn and shovelling my parents' driveway.

Fuck ethics....if she believed in god well then that was her damn gift from him. 100,000k a year to exist, bloody brilliant.

So how much would they pay me to look at porn and make long distance phone calls all day?
Judging by some people I knew at my last job, around $35,000 a year.

Well what would I have to do for 50?
Wear pressed pants once a week, laugh at 20% more of the boss's bad jokes, and make annual business trips to Rochester.
