The newest threat to your liberty

If they want to make this work, have a judge on 'speed-dial', and a mobile FAX. If its not a static site, then being stopped for erratic driving would equal probable cause...Otherwise, I ain't buying it. On the side of this legislation is the fact that there is no 'Right to Drive" explicit in...

Don't ask, don't tell' is no more

Now that DADT is 'officially' repealed, when are they going to change Article 125, and the 10 USC Sec. 654 to allow homosexual acts? Kinda makes serving while openly gay a lie, innit? DADT gets repealed and we're back to the witch hunts. Nice forward movement.

They won't secure the border against millions of invaders but they will do this ...

Re: They won't secure the border against millions of invaders but they will do this . Set up a mine field between the US and Mexico. A mine goes off, then replace it. A very simple solution. If Mexico doesn't like it, then too bad. Soveriegn territory is soveriegn territory.

    Dayum thieves...

I think it was finding people in the home. Most people are working at this time of the day. I work 1400-2200. Besides...the sword was by the door that was broken in.

    Dayum thieves...

Well...its been an exciting day. Some punk broke into my apartment while I, and my wife, were in bed asleep. The 'alleged' perpetrator even got as far as to open the bedroom door. I jumped up, and told my wife to call 911. He ran, and I gave chase up to my apartment door. I saw him, and the car...

Even England knows their health care system is junk

Interesting, to say the least. Non-citizens can get treatment under the UK health system. I wonder how that would pan out in the US...oops...we already have a federal law requiring anyone who shows up at the ER to be treated... Now I'll just wait for the reply that says I'm either wrong, or...

    Are we all created equal?

I answered 'Yes' as well. Too bad money seems to make some folks less 'lawful' than others. Point in case...Embezzlement vs robbery.

    Arizona bill 1070

Nah. 1. I have a sense of humor. Most of the stuff you say evokes a laugh. ;) 2. You say something poignant sometimes. 3. When I think your post is mistimed, or, IMO, outright wrong, I will reply with what I believe to be the most correct answer.

Israel attacks Turkish humanitarian ship in international waters

Awww..those poor aid workers...bringing pipes to a gunfight. As I see it, they had choices. They chose wrong. If they hadn't attacked the Israeli's with pipes, they would've been searched...again, legal...and then either passed on through, or turned back. Bottom line is that they had no...

House approves repeal of gay ban in military

Sorry. Your response is in error. Flaunting the rules results in punishment across the board. That kind of thing is prosecuted all the time. That's why we have an EEO department under the JAG. Thanks for playing. Too bad your ignorance on the matter is apparent to anybody who ever wore a...

House approves repeal of gay ban in military

Like I said before...I know that gays have been, and are, serving in the military. The problem came from them flaunting the rules. As for the house ruling...did they also get rid of the FEDERAL laws against sodomy? If not, then they haven't done diddly.

    Arizona bill 1070

I'm not. You are basing your argument on emotion, and not logic. 1 How long does it take to become a naturalized citizen of Canada? 2. What type of emigre does Canada prefer? 3. What happens if the criteria for becoming a Canadian citizen is not met by the person requesting said...
