So much for the Korean cease-fire

Typical... some but-job threathening Bristol Palin is more comment-worthy than a continuation of a Korean war..with both North and South Korea holding nukes and your own Navy sitting in between the two. Pass the beer nuts. DWtS is on.

So much for the Korean cease-fire

http://news.yahoo.com/video/business-15749628/23165777 North Korea decided to take a few pot-shots on South Korea and SK fired back, of course. Nasty piece of work, that. They're officially still at war since their cease-fire in the 50's

Senate Bill S 510: Would outlaw gardening and saving seeds

The Senate voted this week 74 to 25 to proceed with S.510 Food Safety Act, which gives FDA more power to recall product and require stricter standards for keeping food safe. This had operators of smaller farms and advocates for locally produced food worried that the bill’s requirements would...

Yer right... pilots should have some serious background checks done on them before they go anywhere near a plane full of people though- updated quarterly. Drug/booze screening daily and a yearly psych eval. I'd ask the same of politicians (plus a FISCAL body-cavity search to boot) - though...

TSA Cuffs Radio Host to Chair

Backscatter and other screening methods already in use do nothing for C4/Semtex inserts. You'd need a body-cavity search for that...or worst considering the idea of using sub-dermal implants instead. Profiling doesn't always work, but profiling should stop your Granny from getting felt up for...

Brazilians will be forced to use RFID chips and GPS trackers in their cars

Most RFID have problems being encased in metals...they also lose a LOT of range attempting to read them 'edge on' - that is, not being immediately parallel to the chip with your reader. Being in a car..I'd put the best effective range at 10' for RFID...which means that if you can spit on it...

TSA Cuffs Radio Host to Chair

The automatic choice for the person being screened is Body Scanner vs Pat-down. Just asking for the pat-down shouldn't have caused a ruckus... trying to raise some hell and get some press-time out of it should get you some hassle.
