Alligator is really good fried or in a stew. Tonks is exactly right about texture and taste. Squirrel I have only had in a stew. I remember it tasting kinda gamey like duck. But I don't remember it all that well since it has been a very long time since I have eaten it.

Oh it's cool. Some friends of mine in college brewed all the time. There was a law about how much brewed beverage could be on your property, so when they wanted to try a new recipe it was free beer for all of us! They came up with some real yummy stuff.
