My folks are probably your age squiggy an they were hippies delux and my Dad never grew out of it. None the less he is 52 years old and scamming doctors for 300mg of Morphine a day and never leaves the couch. What can I say one of the sixties finest. My ma on the other hand pulled her head outs the ass and went back to college at age 40 graduated and is quite succesful at age 53. She has been divorced from my dad since I was 2 which I don't blame here for. My Dad was a loser extrordinare. He even got pissed when I decided to clean up quite smokin the dope's(all)... I guess he wanted them around him to be at his level.

Dam hippie assholes, only think about one thing. Staying high. :mad:

a lot of them had a positive influence on people, making them look at life at a more positive way...just because you've had some bad experiences doesn't mean you'd just start generalizing.

The hippies changed the world. Good, bad or indifferent, they had a major influence on politics & society. Some suck, some need to grow up & most have moved on. One bad (or good) anything has no bearing on the whole. Get over it. You have 2 chances at a parent child relationship-don't blow the second.
