I imagine not too bad (Georgian Bay), it's really shallow for a ways out, but then it plunges way deep out there, so it'd surely be nippy, considering it's October

Large bodies of water take a while to cool dawn and heat up. Its probably just still tolerable. Its probably unholy cold for a full 60 days into the spring warm season.
