Show me. The President stated his case. The Legislature agreed & voted, overwhelmingly YEA!!!!, the Secretary of State went to the UN, before teh world. Not once did they say or imply that Iraq was involved with 9/11. You're wishing it so does not make it so.

On the other hand, Bush did say the Iraqis would be given free elections. Well, look...

Campaigning halted Wednesday across Iraq to give its 15 million voters an opportunity to reflect before deciding who will govern the country for the next four years.

Iraq's election commission said it had registered 6,655 candidates on 996 lists and had certified 307 political groups - either in the form of single candidates or parties - and 19 coalitions.

Baghdad is the biggest electoral district, with 2,161 candidates running for 59 of the 275 seats in parliament, according to commission's executive director, Adel Ali al-Lami. There are 33,000 polling stations around Iraq.

Too bad the trend is showing approval rates growing, right? You also need to look at the whole thing. You'd be surprised what you find...but that would require you to be openminded...
