Or wait for the Jazz festival, or the Just for Laughs festival, or one of the 50 other festivals that Montreal hosts, just to fuck up the traffic for us working slobs.
 
i'll have to wait till next year regardless. i didn't sign up for vacation time this summer. the Gran Prix is at the top of my list for next summer..

Prof, when is the Just for Laughs festival? never heard of it.
 
Prof's right on the ball....we do have the largest number of festivals in one city per annum...somewhere in excess of 100 if you count the small ones. This year, I'm going to the Just for Laughs for a few shows, depending on budget. The Nasty Show, the World Improv championships, Queer Comics, maybe...if I can get my fingers into my son's piggy bank...one of the headliners...maybe that guy from "Everybody Loves Raymond"...the tall maniac...can't remember his name.

Jazz-Fest...a LOT of free outdoor shows...must go!
Blues-Fest...ditto
Black-and-Blue...I visit and enjoy the music, but it's more Jeslek's style (Imagine over 100,000 homosexuals coming to Montreal for the largest Rave you ever did see)...
