My kid goes & looks for cheats, etc for his games. He's yet to come across a site that cums across... Between Dragonball Z & Simpsons stuff, he needs a job in bad anime. As long as the computer is in a room with supervision, they ought to be relatively safe.

My kid has fairly free hands on the Internet -but I tend to be lurking in the background. He usually uses the net to look for cheats, pictures (wallpaper pics), play games, and search for when whatever game he is drooling after will be released..

We have each our accounts, mine is password protected, since I have the password to get online saved. He may use the computer when he is home alone, but no Internet. If he wants to use the net from his account, I have to type in the password.

The only settings he messes with is background and screensaver.

could edit the group policy settings to disallow access to changing any setting, that would solve/prevent any windows/internet exploder problem

When I was 7 I was looking at Hustler, penthouse, and playboy magazines. We's usually steal them from our fathers and keep them in whatever fort we'd have at the time. Atleast it gave me the chance to get that crap outta my system when I was young. I now respect women to much to support the porn industry.
